Emily Karanikolopoulos

Emily Karinikopolous has been practising Ikebana – the Japanese art of flower arrangement – for several decades. She is a proponent of the Sogetsu School, a form of Ikebana which encourages the development of one’s personal style and a creative, contemporary approach. The Sogetsu School was founded in 1927 by Sofu Teshigahara, who believed that Ikebana practice should not be constrained by strict rules about materials and form.
