
Emily Karanikolopoulos
Born in Ballarat in 1956 Emily Karanikolopoulos is an esteemed teacher and practitioner of the Japanese art of flower arrangement ‘Sogetsu Ikebana,’ with a successful career spanning several decades. She has dedicated herself to the art form, immersing in intensive studies, workshops and events, in Australia and Tokyo’s Sogetsu headquarters. Her contributions have earned her recognition within and beyond the ikebana community receiving numerous awards in Australia and internationally.
Emily’s deep connection with ikebana has influenced her worldview, cultivating a greater appreciation for diverse art forms. Her ikebana arrangements draw inspiration from architecture, paintings, fashion, and sculpture.
