Arts Centre Melbourne sculptures find temporary new home at McClelland

Three significant sculptures from Arts Centre Melbourne’s Public Art Collection have found a new temporary home at McClelland, during the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation.

Three sculptures—Rhythms of Life, Family of Man I and Family of Man II—previously located around Arts Centre Melbourne’s Theatres building, were installed yesterday at McClelland as part of a long-term loan while Arts Centre Melbourne undergoes significant updates to its buildings and public space.

McClelland acknowledges the Bunurong / Boon Wurrung people of the South-Eastern Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we are placed.

We are a safe, welcoming space for all people.

As a not-for-profit organisation, McClelland relies largely on the support of visitors through entry fees and donations to help conserve and build the collection, curate inspiring exhibitions and public programs, and care for the beautiful sculpture park and bushland setting for all to enjoy.
