Cultural Day

Celebrating First Nations at McClelland

Sunday 7 May 2023

McClelland warmly invites all members of the local community to a celebration of First Nations culture and community, with performances by leading First Nations artists including Kutcha Edwards and Ganga Giri. There will be a free sausage sizzle, market stalls and for the kids, the Funky Farm.

We invite families and friends of all ages and cultures to experience an afternoon of celebration, empowerment and education within our spectacular sculpture park. This unique and inclusive experience will be an alcohol-free, family-friendly event.

This is a free event with no tickets required.

McClelland acknowledges the Bunurong / Boon Wurrung people of the South-Eastern Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we are placed.

We are a safe, welcoming space for all people.

As a not-for-profit organisation, McClelland relies largely on the support of visitors through entry fees and donations to help conserve and build the collection, curate inspiring exhibitions and public programs, and care for the beautiful sculpture park and bushland setting for all to enjoy.
