Creative Connections: Celebrating NAIDOC

This school holidays McClelland welcomes children and families to join our FREE community workshops.
These events are for children 5-12 years old and their families/carers, inside the Sarah and Baillieu Myer Education Pavilion.

The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy

This NAIDOC Week, join our family-friendly art activities inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and the NAIDOC theme for 2025, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy."

Through art making, activities will celebrate the power of the cultural connections of the past and present generations.

Thurs 10 July & Fri 11 July 2025
10.30am – 1pm

*Important to note:
Workshops are free, entrance is by order of arrival.
Parents and carers must remain with children during the sessions.

As a not-for-profit organisation, McClelland relies largely on the support of visitors through entry fees and donations to help conserve and build the collection, curate inspiring exhibitions and public programs, and care for the beautiful sculpture park and bushland setting for all to enjoy.
