Celebration of Life Memorial Services

Honour and celebrate a life well lived at McClelland Sculpture Park + Gallery, where art, nature, and quiet beauty offer a comforting setting for reflection and remembrance. Surrounded by tranquil landscapes and inspiring works, McClelland provides a thoughtful alternative to traditional venues, inviting family and friends to gather, share stories, and connect in a space that feels both uplifting and serene.

Our Sarah & Baillieu Myer Education Pavilion and Graham Family Terrace offer a light-filled, architectural sanctuary that flows seamlessly into the sculpture park’s natural surrounds. Designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects, the Pavilion’s expansive glass doors and elevated views create a gentle sense of openness and calm, while flexible indoor-outdoor spaces allow for both intimate moments and larger gatherings.

To discuss how we can support you in creating a meaningful and personal farewell, we warmly invite you to connect with our team.

McClelland acknowledges the Bunurong / Boon Wurrung people of the South-Eastern Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we are placed.

We are a safe, welcoming space for all people.

As a not-for-profit organisation, McClelland relies largely on the support of visitors through entry fees and donations to help conserve the collection, curate exhibitions and educational programs, and care for the beautiful sculpture park and bushland setting for all to enjoy.
