We are honoured to host the launch of Blowing in a New Era: Three Generations, One Family—a powerful tribute to the Gordon-Donaldson family's legacy in global glass art. From Alasdair Gordon’s first steps into the Edinburgh College of Art in 1941 to the award-winning works of grandsons Hamish and Calum Donaldson in 2025, this story is one of passion, precision, and generational artistry.
Join us from Saturday 5 July exhibition featuring over 100 works, including pieces from the family’s recent residency at Poatina Arts, Tasmania.
The launch event on Saturday 5 July will include a special address by Scott Chaseling, with the family in attendance, signed books, and artwork available for purchase.
