Sculpted Sounds launches Saturday 7 March 2026, transforming McClelland Sculpture Park + Gallery, Langwarrin into a bold new outdoor music experience.
The music festival invites community to experience music in a fresh and immersive way. Set among native bushland and world-class sculpture, Sculpted Sounds marks a new chapter for McClelland in its 54-year legacy as a leading arts charity.

Take your taste buds on tour with a curated lineup of gourmet food trucks serving up local legends and festival favourites. From street eats to sweet treats, there’s something for every craving.
Licensed bars across the site will keep the good times flowing with a mix of cold brews, local wines and alcohol-free options - the perfect pairing for an epic day of live music and good vibes.
Ticket proceeds support McClelland’s ongoing exhibitions, education programs and cultural preservation.

Ball Park Music
Indie rock icons and festival favourites, Ball Park Music bring their signature blend of anthemic hooks and heartfelt lyricism to the McClelland stage. Over 15 years into their career, Ball Park Music continue to defy expectations and redefine what it means to be a beloved Australian band. With five ARIA Top 5 albums, platinum-certified singles, and over a dozen triple j Hottest 100 placements, the Brisbane indie rockers have built a legacy of innovation and emotional resonance. From their breakout debut Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs to the psych-leaning Every Night The Same Dream and euphoric GOOD MOOD, the band has consistently evolved while staying true to their signature sound. Their self-titled sixth album and 2022’s Weirder & Weirder further cemented their status, with sold-out tours and critical acclaim. Across six solo albums and two as part of Seeker Lover Keeper, four have reached Platinum Sales Status with six debuts in the ARIA Top 10. Sarah Blasko is a three-time ARIA Award winner, 18x ARIA Award nominee, has won the J Award for Australian Album of the Year, and three-times shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize.

The Meltdown
Melbourne soul outfit The Meltdown are captivating global audiences with their timeless blend of classic soul grooves and heartfelt storytelling. With over 150 million streams and a rapidly growing international fanbase, the band’s rich, emotionally resonant sound—anchored by frontman Simon Burke’s soaring vocals—has struck a universal chord. From humble beginnings in Melbourne’s vibrant soul scene to sold-out shows and European tours, The Meltdown have built a reputation for authenticity, sophistication, and musical depth.
Now, with a new global deal through Warner Music subsidiary ADA and the upcoming release of their six-track opus Perseverance, The Meltdown are poised to reach new heights. Queenie & Hank
A dazzling new duo with vintage soul, Queenie & Hank channel the golden age of country duets with a modern twist. Eloise Thetford’s honeyed vocals meet Henry Wagons’ fireside baritone in a collaboration born of serendipity and sealed in song. Let your ears drink in the sweet, sun-dappled sounds, dripping in rhinestones and soaked in ’60s charm. With golden harmonies and a smoky twang, they channel the sultry swagger of Nancy & Lee and the tender fire of Dolly & Kenny, while offering something undeniably fresh. “Queenie” is Eloise Thetford, a rising star in Melbourne’s live music scene with a voice of pure gold. “Hank,” aka Henry Wagons, a pioneer of Australia’s indie-country movement, adds his fireside baritone and visionary edge. Together, they twist and turn through a psychedelic folk turbine, emerging from the darker corners of music and storytelling with a sound that feels both timeless and brand new. What began as a chance meeting at the 2023 APRA Awards—with a sprinkle of mutual admiration—soon turned into a collaboration that felt fated. Their voices met like puzzle pieces in Hank’s Trentwood Studio, and in a wild, organic stream of creative force, they forged a full album of original duets that hovering the spirits of the past while reaching boldly forward.

Henry Wagons
Guiding the day’s rhythm with wit, warmth and unmistakable flair, Henry Wagons will serve as Master of Ceremonies for Sculpted Sounds. A true showman and cultural force, Wagons brings decades of experience as a musician, broadcaster, and storyteller to the stage. Known for his magnetic presence and quick-fire charm, he is the perfect host to thread together a day of sonic exploration and artistic immersion.

What time do gates open?
Gates open from 2:30pm. Please arrive with enough time to enjoy the surroundings before the performances begin.

How do I get tickets?
Tickets are only available via Oztix.

Can I bring chairs or rugs?
No, chairs, rugs, or other seating items are not permitted. The event is designed for a standing or dancing experience among the sculptures.

No outside alcohol is allowed. Alcohol will be available to purchase from vendors.

No outside food is allowed. Food will be available to purchase from vendors.
Is water available?
Yes! Refillable water bottles are welcome, and water stations will be available throughout the venue.
How do I get there by public transport?
- Take the train to Frankston Station
- From there, catch a local bus toward Langwarrin or Karingal (check PTV for route options)
- Alternatively, use Uber or rideshare services for direct drop-off at McClelland
Is parking available?
Limited parking is available at McClelland Sculpture Park + Gallery. Karingal Hub offers extensive parking and is a gentle 2km walk or grab a rideshare to the venue.
