Creative Drop-in: Play in Colour

Wednesday 1 + Thursday 2 July 2026

Inspired by the exhibition
Christopher Pyett: Years of Colour
kids and families get to explore fun, creative activities at McClelland.

What to expect:
Symphony of Sculpture- Inspired by the work of Christopher Pyett, make a slot sculpture exploring geometric shapes in 3D form.

Pixel Portraits - Explore drawing and create a portrait of yourself, or someone you know.

Children then add theirs to our colourful community portrait wall!

Plus….other ways to explore colour & lines!

Sessions: 10:30- 12pm & 12.30-2pm
Where: Sarah and Bailleau Myer Education Pavilion
Ages: 5- 12yo & families

Important to note:
Adults remain with and supervise their children during the workshops.

Places are available in order of arrival.

Wait times may occur during busy periods.
